It's week #17 and I went back to werq today. I still have bronchitis but I took my last antibiotic this morning and things are on the up and up. All I did today was comb through my inbox; filing and deleting. Now I have a logjam in my "To Do" folder that is filled with ~150 things I have to/want to read. The rest were old asks that have been taken care of. BEGONE! I have lost 57 lbs overall and have lost 47" all over as of today. 48 of those lbs were lost post-surgery. I just want to get to 50 lost post-surgery! Just a mini goal that I almost met yesterday but went up again today. I deserve it too after the hell I put my digestive system through with some ill conceived Chinese food late last night. Bad girl! (Bad girl because it didn't even taste good for all the grief it brought me.) This photo is one we took on a walk last night. I have other photos of us fools in front of this wall and I compared and can actually see weight loss in my face now. I think it's probably not incredibly noticeable but I finally did which is cool. Okay, I'm exhausted because I woke up at 5am like a looliebird. Because of this stupid bronchitis, today is the first day in a week that I’ve 1) woken up before 11am, 2) gotten showered before 4pm, 3) gotten dressed and put on makeup AT ALL. I’m still sick but I’ll take my victories where I can get’m. To celebrate, here is a chaotic photo shoot with @shirleyjacksonthedog and myself. (There are a few bonus shots of something I did to her yesterday. Bless her patient heart.)

For week 16 post-op, I am sick as a gd dog. I went to the doc today and he said I have bronchitis. Yesterday I missed La Befana! If you look closely though, they included me in the family portrait LOL. So sweet and funny. I hate that I missed it. 😭🤒 So now I’m flat on my back for one more week; this time with a bone rattling cough. I finally caught the cold/cough that’s been going around just in time to go back to werq on Monday. Coolcoolcoolcoolcool. FYI, this wholesome photo of me and Monster was taken while watching “Don’t F*ck with Cats” at 1 o’clock in the marnin. Alsoalsoalso, the results from the Upper GI XRay came back normal which means that I don’t have any GI swelling BUT new bloodwork shows that I’m low in iron which I suspected and probably has been contributing to fatigue. I’m going to start taking supplements and see if my energy takes off! For NYE, @ykristyn and I put on weird makeup and danced to Paula Abdul. At midnight, we went outside briefly and our neighbors shot off some fireworks. Kristyn got nervous and ordered me and @shirleyjacksonthedog to go inside. We had some Freixenet and pigs in a blankie. A successful New Year’s Eve!
